James Thompson & Hannah Robson

James Thompson is an artist exploring the perception of space and its interpretation, re-interpreting spatial situations through sculpture, moving image and performance. We have been exploring scanning as a method of tracing pathways through space, capturing details and surfaces along a controlled, yet arbitrary route. This has included scanning the surface of the jacquard machine itself and its physical context within the college.
